Once again, it happened ;)
I ordered a Pandora Console :) The "line" is 4-6 weeks long, but I'm soo eagerly waiting that little baby :) Check out the emulators, it already runs without any problems.

Some more stuff ordered...
Ordered some additional Turbo Pads and Galaga (yay!) from Moeroshop. Great selection and reaaally low prices. Yes, I know the site is a mess, but otherwise they're ok ;) If you want a real retro machine, you can get a Turbo Grafx, 1 controller, 1 adapter (for adding up to 5 controllers) and Blazing Lazers for 53,83 €! That *IS* cheap :D

New poster and some other stuff
Ok, finally got the poster I've been waiting for over 4 weeks. (it seems that the British Royal Mail is not so royal afterall...) A picture of the poster (ordered here) and a cheapo frame (ordered here) below:

Looks nice, doesn't it :)
On top of the poster I got a few more games fror my beloved Turbografx-16: Silent Debuggers and Dungeon Explorer. Fantastic games! I also found out of a great "retrogameshop" here.
Prices are unbelievably low :) Go check it out!
Last but not least: I goofed around with my beloved Canon V-20 a bit and got for example The Goonies and King's Valley running nicely from the SDInterface. Great games, if you're into those sweet'n-old platformers :D :D
Stay tuned for more TG-16 games (especially Imported ones...)

More stuff...
Turbografx-16 + Turbo Tap + 2 Turbopads + a few games (Blazing Lazers, Vigilante and Legendary Axe) arrived during the last few days :D Initial testing confirms my expectations: A totally awesome console!I also ordered one of these posters: can you believe how cool that will look on my "game room's" wall ;D ;D
I'll post some gameplay videos during the weekend provided that I can get a decent setup for the camera (can't digitize the video for now). We'll see about that.

Ocean loaders in all their glory
I have fond memories about loading tape versions of Commodore 64 games published by Ocean Software. The loaders (music and the slowly emerging loading screen) have done some irreversible damage to my brain :) I think especially the 2 first versions of the Ocean loader music by Martin Galway are just plain brilliant! The melody sticks in your head forever once you've heard it. Don't believe me? Ok, go on and test it yourself then. I uploaded all the 5 versions of the Ocean loader to Youtube with cycle-exact graphics. Loaders can be seen and especially heard here Have fun!

This blog is alive!
Finally I made it! I thought that I should document my adventures in the "retro universe", so here I am. You'll see some interesting posts concerning retro gaming and vintage (gaming) hardware. You've been warned! ;)
